I think the quality could be a little better. This product does what it should. holds the loose tea in place while it steeps. Sometimes the clasp feels like it could easily fall off if you aren't careful. However, it is a fine product for its purpose.
Over time this gets worse, and the tea ball becomes unusable. I am a man who loves his tea. There are other balls with clips that are a bit more sturdy. I drink up to a dozen cups a day, so I use my tea ball quite frequently. My major complaint with most tea balls, and the reason I must always replace them is that eventually the clip begins to not fasten securely. I just got this tea ball in the mail a week ago, and while it is still usable, the clip is already losing its grip. Look somewhere else for a tea ball.
